Weight Loss FAQs
Clear answers about how the Momentum Health 360 process works, telehealth visits, prescriptions, packaging, and preparing for your consult.
How does it work?
- Step one Take a short quiz so the care team can gather basic information and review whether a program may be suitable for you. Board-certified clinicians review your answers as part of that process.
- Step two If you complete the quiz and appear eligible, you can schedule a telehealth consultation with a network physician. During that visit, you and your clinician can discuss options and select a prescription-based weight loss package if treatment is appropriate.
- Step three After your consultation, prescription orders are usually processed within about 7 to 10 business days of invoice payment. Delivery timing can vary based on your appointment date, medication type, and supply. Medications are shipped to the address on file when an order is fulfilled.
Is this confidential?
Yes. Medical records and order history are handled under applicable privacy rules and are accessible to authorized medical professionals and care team members involved in your care. You can review more detail in our Privacy Policy.
Why do I need a telehealth visit?
Clinical review matters. During your telehealth visit, a licensed clinician reviews your medical history, current medications, and related health details to help decide whether a treatment option may be appropriate for you.
If a prescription is issued, it is sent to a licensed pharmacy partner for fulfillment. When applicable, your order is delivered to the address on file.
Do I need a prescription?
You do not need to bring an existing prescription to get started. If a clinician determines you meet clinical criteria for treatment, they may issue a prescription as part of your care.
Does the medication come with instructions?
Yes. Prescriptions are typically provided with clear usage instructions covering how to use and store the medication. If you need clarification, the medical team can offer additional guidance.
Do you accept returns?
Prescription medications dispensed for a named patient generally cannot be returned. For full eligibility and cancellation details, see Returns, Refunds, and Eligibility.
Is packaging discreet?
Yes. Packaging is plain and does not use prominent branding or identifying labels on the outside.
What will appear on your credit card statement?
Charges typically appear on your statement as Momentum Health.
Are injections safe to give yourself?
If your clinician recommends a medication that uses subcutaneous injection, you receive step-by-step written instructions for administration. Review all included safety materials carefully before injecting, and contact the care team if anything is unclear.
How should I prepare for my initial consult?
You usually receive a text message with an access link for your video visit. Use that link to join. Waiting for a phone call is not required. Initial consultations often last about 10 to 20 minutes.
Before your visit
- Test your video app in advance (for example, Zoom) and confirm audio and camera work.
- Choose a private location with limited background noise.
- Use good lighting so your face is easy to see. Mute music, TV, or games.
- Place your laptop or phone on a flat surface so the camera stays steady.
- Center yourself on screen with the camera near eye level and look toward the camera.
- Silence other device alerts with Do Not Disturb if needed.
- Close extra apps to free bandwidth and reduce distractions.
- Stay focused. Avoid eating, driving, exercising, or running errands during the visit.
- Dress as you would for an in-person appointment.
- Join on time and be ready when the visit starts.
How often will I receive a shipment?
Follow-up shipments are timed around clinical progress review and the next prescription when continuing treatment is appropriate. Timing can vary based on your plan, consult schedule, and medication supply.
